Chaos HT/Zakum

Coming July 14th, something is happening in the deep places in Maple World. A dark power has possessed Zakum and Horntail, making them even deadlier than they were before. Chaos Zakum and Chaos Horntail are here -- are you ready for the challenge?



Chaos Zakum requires an expedition of at least six Maplers that are skilled and strong of at least level 100. Defeat this enraged monster and you’ll have the chance at picking up a Chaos Zakum Helmet, Chaos Zakum’s Tree Branch and some awesome scrolls!



Chaos Horntail needs at least six Maplers even stronger than those needed to fight Chaos Zakum. You must be at least level 110 to go on this expedition but if you can defeat Chaos Horntail you might be lucky enough to pick up a Chaos Horntail Necklace!

Assuming they are the same but slightly harder versions of each, here is what I propose for zakum: Guild runs only. Free (or very cheap to cover apples) helms for everyone, but no resale. Since these helms are 100+ and require the platinum scissors, I see no resale value possible in these. However they are still great to have and would be good additions to most of us.

steve, how about i host this? i was planning to helm not only our members but a few trustworthy friends as well. I already read how tough this boss gonna be thx to the info kevin found.

yeah me too. It will NOT be easy. If you wanna host, be my guest, this one is prolly just out of my league anyway; seems more like horntail than zakum.

Was just saying that if it was just a guild run we would need: Chaz, Jason, Lily, Brian and the next top 5 members of our guild to have even a chance of killing it within the time limit. If we outsource it to your buddies, that would make it a LOT faster.

I bet GMS will sissy out and downgrade it.
